We use a strict Git-based workflow. Designs are created in Figma using design tokens and variables, handed off via GitHub issues, and developed into custom WordPress block themes.
AI Assistance
You will use custom instructions, prompt libraries, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to give AI assistants like Copilot real context on our projects, accelerating your coding and QA processes.

LightSpeed has championed a fully remote work culture since 2014. Our team collaborates globally, which allows us to foster a diverse range of talent. We heavily leverage AI productivity tools to streamline our asynchronous workflows, keeping our internal processes highly efficient while supporting a flexible work-life balance.
Yes, open-source is foundational to our engineering philosophy. We have developed over 30 bespoke open-source plugins and 10 custom block themes, which we release back to the community under the GNU General Public License. We also actively participate in global WordPress communities, including WordCamps, to stay current with the ecosystem.
