The Challenge
As a result of a prolonged hiatus during the lockdown associated with the global pandemic, the company’s website needed a refresh. With the world resuming travel again, and with the company’s old website built on an outdated WordPress install, updates to content and look and feel presented a challenge. Added to this, the existing theme’s limitations meant that our LightSpeed team needed to perform time-consuming updates on the client’s behalf.
The Solution
In order to create a great-looking website that could answer the requirement for existing clients to refer their friends, and to showcase Savvy Traveller’s portfolio of tours and cruises, a solution was required that would also enable the client to make updates to content smoothly and easily. To answer this need, the LightSpeed team used the new-generation FrostWP theme to present the company’s offerings in the form of a digital catalogue, complemented by the creation of custom pages, icons and site elements. Providing guidance on the professional new look and feel, the team also assisted the client in selecting image content that captured the level of luxury travel that clients could expect.
All changes were powered by WP Blocks in combination with the FrostWP theme, a new-generation block editor that enables every element of the website to be directly and easily edited. The end result was a professional and user-friendly website that answered all client requirements.
