We’re thrilled to announce the release of LSX Design 1.4! This update brings a host of improvements, bug fixes, and new features designed to enhance your WordPress experience. This release primarily focuses on ensuring seamless compatibility with the latest WordPress 6.6 update, particularly with the Grid Block, and includes significant enhancements to the theme.json configuration. Key Enhancements

The LSX Design 1.4 update is packed with crucial enhancements that elevate your WordPress experience. We’ve concentrated on Grid Block compatibility, addressing column and mobile compatibility issues, and refining image cover display for a more consistent visual presentation. Additionally, the theme.json update aligns with the latest WordPress standards, allowing you to leverage new features and improvements.

WP 6.6 Grid Block Compatibility

Ensuring seamless compatibility with the latest WordPress version, this update addresses various aspects of the WP 6.6 Grid Block.

  • Column Compatibility: Fixes related to column compatibility for a smoother design experience.
  • Mobile Compatibility: Enhancements to ensure the grid blocks function flawlessly on mobile devices.
  • Image Cover Display Issues: Resolved display issues for a more consistent visual presentation.

Theme.json Update

  • Version Upgrade: Updated theme.json from version 2 to 3, aligning with WP 6.6 standards to leverage the latest features and improvements.
  • We are compliant with the latest schema version of the theme.json
  • We are overriding the use of the WordPress spacing and font size values, for our own labels and values.
  • In the next version we will be changing our labels to the same naming convention as WordPress, but we will continue to use our “custom” values.

Bug Fixes

This release focuses on enhancing user experience by addressing several key issues reported by our community. We’ve resolved bugs related to button case selection, search results patterns, mobile blog pagination, and footer social icons. These fixes ensure a smoother and more reliable interaction with your website.

Button Case Select

  • Resolved issues with button case select not working (#141 and #146).
  • Ensured all buttons have an underline to enhance visibility and user interaction (#148 and #117).

Search Results Pattern

  • Fixed the “No Results” pattern missing bug, ensuring users receive appropriate feedback when no search results are found (#143).

Mobile Blog Pagination

  • Addressed and fixed issues related to blog pagination on mobile devices for better navigation (#138).
  • Adjustments made to the size of social icons in the footer, ensuring they display correctly across different devices and resolutions (#118).

New Features and Enhancements

Beyond the essential enhancements, we’ve introduced exciting new features to further enrich your website’s functionality. This includes the implementation of 3D-styled buttons, adding depth and a modern look to your site’s interface. These updates not only enhance aesthetics but also improve user interaction and engagement.
